Katie Bayerl, author of A Psalm for Lost Girls, is the second Lois Lowry Fellowship recipient. She coaches teens and nonprofits to tell stories and holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She currently leads the VCFA Young Writers Network and teaches classes for teens at GrubStreet. A Psalm for Lost Girls (spring 2017, Putnam) is her first novel.
